Who's Naughty, Who's Nice?

Thanksgiving has come and gone which means one thing to me today: Retail Hell. The mayhem begins in another hour or so and I’m not dreading it as much as you’d expect. But this is pretty typical of me, expecting the best and then I'm shocked when I’m left torn and bleeding by the side of the road. So here’s my request, over the next four weeks, whenever you're out and about (and this includes Costco), please try to be kind to the people around you. We’re all just as frustrated and annoyed as you are that it’s crowded, the lines are long, and they’re out of Tickle Me Elmo.

Directions to Carnegie Hall

Richard Carlson wrote, "You become what you practice." I like this idea quite a bit and over the years I've developed my ability to see beauty everywhere I go. Of course, sometimes it's easier than other times, like last Sunday when we brought our kites and a picnic to Hammonassett Beach.
