Pulling out my hair

okay, so the blog, it's archives, the links page and the images are all moved to their new home at JenniferMeyers.com. The site meter and blogroll are moved too (but I haven't gotten to the 'comments' tag yet). I know you care.

Blog Redux

I'm trying to close up shop on one of my urls: originalintention.com. I've tried to keep two sites going for a while and because of several changes in circumstance, keeping the information separate is no longer necessary. Anyway, as I move things around and redirect other things, I discovered that a site linked to my blog based upon my mention of bullet holes. It's a madcap cyber world we live in.

Best Use of a MetroCard

M & I spent the weekend in the city. The experience created a collage in my head of asian markets, modern art, music in the subways, all infused with the scent of "meat on the street" (the vending carts). I'm glad we had such an incredible weekend because I came home to find that my car is frozen into the garage (I think the puddles of rain froze the bottom of the garage door in place?!). Here are a couple of pics...
Michael at Joey Ramone Place. I remember in the 1970s when the Ramones performed at the Player's Tavern in Westport and the preppy boys threw beer bottles at them. Now Joey has the last laugh, sort of.

Michael and I had dinner at an Indian restaurant on the lower east side (little India) named Ghandi's. The spice-colored decor of the restaurant was complemented by red paper Valentine's Day decorations. M was sorry we didn't eat at the restaurant that was covered in strings of red chili pepper lights, but now we have something to shoot for the next time.
