Let the Holidays Begin!

The girls and I had been discussing a new decorating scheme for the holidays since last December. It all began when I brought home a small, silver, fiber optic "permanent" holiday tree last year. We were so taken by it that we began to pine after a full-sized, white, artificial tree. This November, I found a 7' one online but I was hesitant to spend the money. One of the first things that Alle said to me when I returned from vacation was that she had seen the perfect tree when she was out shopping with her father. So I slipped out of work a little early, found the perfect 7' white tree, and a selection of white wire/pink lights...here is the final effect (flash off/flash on). Happy Holidays!

View from my chair



This is the view of part of the ship taken from the comfort of my deck chair (those are my legs in the upper left window). We were in the blue waters near Nassau. Apparently, I lost weight on this trip. Other than walking to another restaurant, bistro, pub, or lounge on the ship, lifting the camera from the comfort of my deck chair is the most active thing I did. Could it have been my liquid diet?
